subject: Paradox Reliability

Does someone has ever succeeded in building an application with
Paradox For Windows 4.5 under WFW 3.11 that has fully satisfied
his client ? I mean no lock up, no strange behavior, no crash for a
reasonable period of time.
All my apps with Pdox 4.5 for Windows seem to lock up after a while:
even if the client PCs are well protected with UPS, surge protectors,
etc, the Paradox files appear to become eventually corrupted.
As 'playing' with TUTILITY is not my way of showing my (presumed)
ability as a developer, I am beginning to wonder whether Paradox for
Windows was a good choice as a reliable industrial development tool.
In fact, as I understand that Paradox for DOS has many problems as
well, I am wondering if the Borland DataBase Engine itself is not the
culprit. In this case, Borland C++ 4.5 + DataBase Engine and Delphi
would also fail.
So, do you believe that one can develop rock-solid applications with
Borland software ?
Maybe Paradox 5.0 is reliable ?
I would appreciate any opinion on Borland products !
