One subway station in Toronto is like a capital T with the
vertical stroke being the north-south tracks and the top bar the
east-west tracks which are down one floor.
Bearing this in mind, it makes figuring out whether you want to
be at the front or back of the train to connect with the other
line a fair bit easier.
Yes there are some techniques for making mental maps, but I don't
know how to explain them. Presumably o and M people do a they
earn theri living teaching people how to get around.
