Thanks for the reply--- the model # is RDE-19 C. I was at a parts
dealer and he was looking up the parts for me and we decided that it
was a 1958, 35 hsp. I have located the wiring harness and I'm kind of
leaning towards painting it red / white to match the boat but if that
was not available originally I may want to change that. Tell me more
about the primer you were talking about?? I kind of assumed that since
the shroud was metal, a standard epoxy primer (auto body paint store
variety) would work fine. I would be interested if anyone could come
up with some prices to work from also. The wiring harness and plug is
going to run me about $125 and I want to add the generator and
rectifier and that will run about $125 also.
Thanks again!!!!!
I'm hoping to be seaworthy in 5 weeks--I'm taking a week's vacation
then so I'll need something to do.
