subject: Building MBSE on amd64

Hello Michiel,

I am trying to build mbse on the amd64 machine again and have run into
a stumbling block. When I run "make install" I get this error..

*** You are not logged in as user 'mbse' ***
make: *** [install] Error 1

If I try to run that command as user mbse of course it says "Must be
root to install!" Any idea about that, I'm a bit lost? I've asked that
question on the debian list too so maybe someone will be able to give me
some advice.

I was using the unofficial amd64 sarge (stable) before, but that is
dead in the water now, I'm running etch (testing) that is going to be
the new stable when it is released at the end of the year (God willing
and the creek don't rise).

gcc version here is version 3.3.6.

 Ttyl :-),
         Al
