OS/2 is/was a good platform for running a BBS. There were/are a lot of
native OS/2 BBS software & apps. One summer we took off for 15 days and
when we got back I turned on the monitor and there was BinkleyTerm
transfering mail as always. DOS wouldn't do that, well it might but
not likely.

A lot of OS/2 BBSs are still up and running. DOS doors run without much
trouble so maybe that is why. If I can square away an hour or two a day
I'm going to put some effort into making that happen in a linux way. I
think that will take a long time to accomplish but I'll give it a shot.

Yep, there are times I'd like to stick around with Win or OS/2 but I
think in the long run that would bite my ass harder than getting with
the times.

Onward and upwards!
