QB should maybe not a real problem, I understand there are basic compilers
available for Linux.

One of the reasons I wrote the door library for my doors was to make a
simple api that does all you need. People just can use that and link the
door against it while they can leave out a lot of code that was needed under
dos.

All sysop keys and screens can be left out too, that has absolutly no use on
a Linux box. There are really a lot of possibilities today for doors
including networked doors. I guess that part of the doors is really lost to
the internet networked gaming.
