Hmm. I liked Blumenthal when he wrote for The New Republic. I always found
him a bit hard to read, but not so much because he was condescending as he
was writing to peers. I didn't find much, if anything, to complain about in
"The Clinton Wars". It was quite a bit shorter than Cannon's book
on the Reagan Presidency (which name I've forgotten), but still a long read
(took me about 2 weeks).

I'll not be reading "Living History", but I might be tempted by
"My Life", BTW.
