I have been thinking about this but I don't think I've mentioned it before.
Have you thought about adding file and message area grouping to mbse?

If someone has a lot of message areas it would make navigating the areas
in that case simpler/easier for the user. I'm thinking of something similar
to the /MG=0 option in RA years ago if you know what I mean.
