   My priorities? Staying alive at the time. However, I did not ever
ENTIRELY stop my research at any time. It was mostly armchair though. I
think I also have some guilt about what happened to Bill English back
that last year I was here. True, he knew the risks, but still I think
he was punished for talking to me. Sigh..

    That is EXACTLY what Corso says. Even though his story is a bit
hard to swallow, it does seem to tally with your idea. And it actually
makes sense. Space travel must be difficult, why risk yourselves when
you can send a proxy ( as we do on Mars, etc.) yet machines purely
mechanical have limits. Organic brains are much vaster. 
    In which case, we have not even seen the builders of these things
yet.

    My problem as well. I STILL blame an overreliance on hypnosis,
especially in cases not involving both UFO sightings & evidence (
Physical) of an extraordinary occurence. They do happen, but bedroom
events do NOT impress me as having any credibility.
