It's not a control line.

Of course it is. I pirate all my freeware message editors, they're to
expensive for me! :-) I also ask for help and advice on pirating software in
here.

Yes, to tell those who view 'hidden' lines what program was used to edit the
text.

If they caused a problem, like the 'Note' line does, then I wouldn't even buy
that brand of car. (Well, the line doesn't actually cause the problem).

I have absolutely no problem with what is there. However, Maximus has a small
design flaw in that it doesn't allow users to put a ASCII-01 character at the
beggining of a line in a message, and strips them. Now, what does the
ASCII-01 do? What effect does removing it, but leaving the rest of the line
intact do?
Since I cannot get Maximus to hide a line that is intended to be hidden from
normal view, I instead remove it so that it remains hidden from normal view.
Of course, if I had the skills necessary to edit the mesages after being
saved, then I'd simply write a program to replace the ASCII-01 that Maximus
stripped. But I don't believe I have those skills (haven't looked).
Cya..
