The 6502 does not provide a random number generator. On the
Apple and Atari, the programing language (e.g. BASIC) provided
the random number generator. There were also some very fast
changing memory locations (e.g. clocks) which could provide
a reasonably random number, but this didn't have anything
to do with the 6502 either.
