Hi all, the great race is over and HONDA won at an average speed 90 kph.
That's about 55 mph, quite good for a four wheeler carrying a crew of two.

speed around 130 kph, but not sustainable when the clouds appear!
That auto, and all the really fast cars in the race were driven by Aussie
solar panels made by the University of NSW. The greatest!
As a pre race safety test, each car had to survive the wind forces set
up by a nearby fast road train. In AUS a road train is a regular 22
wheeler heavy truck, towing two further unpowered trailers of the same
size.
HOMEPOWER needs the best solar panels. Get yours!!  Cheers..ALEC
