Uh, I meant "12 gauge slug or 12 gauge round ball." I did come upon
one load for 12 ga round ball that gave me 1" groups at 25 yards, but it
used Pyrodex instead of smokeless. Oh well, as they say "If it's stupid
but it works, it's not stupid."
The Lyman .690" round ball fits nicely in a WAA12R wad and shoots fine
in cylinder bore shotgun. The key is to lay the flat sprue on the base
of the shotcup. When using a choked shotgun, Lyman's .662" roundball
will fit in a shotcup and still pass through a choked barrel.
