Yet they are referred to as Peruvians and Chileans... I'm not saying that it's
RIGHT that The US has claimed the term Americans for themselves. Just that the
rest of us do not consider ourselves "American" because of it, and nobody with
half a brain would refer to a Canuck or Mexican as an American unless they were
trying to instigate a disagreement.

Sorry, you are incorrect again. Britain is a land mass, The UK is the Country
(sort of).

The US and Canada are two quite similar but still very very different
countries. If you continue to dismiss that, we might have to form a mob, grab
our hockey sticks, ride to your front door on mooseback, and then apologize
