MR>After reading your messages between the two of you, I had to comment, I
>really didn't realize you two were having as bad a time with the heat as
>we are. And I'm sure working a horse is likely to fry brain cells not
>only for the rider but for the horse as well, Hats off to you both, I
>like spending time outside with the animals at my boyfriends Mom's ranch
>But I just can't be real active when I am doing that.
I only live a couple of hours south of you. There is a 50-50 chance
that I'll be in Sacramento this weekend. There is a gem a mineral
show there that if I get the car back I want to go too. Its a good
place to get supplies. Are you getting the smoke from the fires
too? Aren't they terrible. Because of the heat we've been getting out
to the stables before 7 in the mornings on the weekends and we are
usually finished cleaning the stalls and riding by 9. During the
weekdays we ride around 8 pm if the temperatures are under 100.
