No -- it's universal. :-) You can get it for almost any platform, and it's
one of the most portable languages. (Contrast this with BASIC, which you
can also get for almost any platform, but which is hardly portable.)

In your case, perhaps you might try a QuickBASIC-to-C converter on some of
your old programs, and study the results. I mention this because I just
