I'll bet that while they may not like it it will not be the same. Forces
tend towards an "us & them" kind of mentality where this is
generally applied along ethnic/national lines. Kill the Germans & not
the Nazis sort of thing.

Look at the timelines for the events such as in Fallujah & indeed with
Al Sadr & I think you'll find the releases have nothing to do with the
upsurge in violence where the detentions themselves may well have had.
