If you are programming for yourself, I would suggest Delphi - with it, you
can make use of all of your hard-earned knowledge of Pascal.  But if future
employability is an issue, read the "programmer help wanted" ads. in major
newspapers in your country, and see what language knowledge the employers in
your area want in a programmer.
