There can be no doubt it is a documentary. It wouldn't fit into any other
category. All of the footage is taken from real life as I understand it..
It is certainly a documentary with a particular viewpoint, but no one has
ever said that documentaries had to be even-handed. Most, in fact, are not
and never have been.  Does this one go a bit overboard?  Depends on your
point of view. From a Republican point of view, it does. From a Democratic
point of view, it doesn't begin to go far enough.

By the way, as predicted by many here, including me, the US Supreme Court
today rejected Bush's legal arguments concerning foreign and US detainees
at both Guantanamo and in the US. All of them, without exception, have
recourse to US courts to challenge their detentions. I guess we are a
little less Nazis today than we were yesterday.

I know it is a little hard for you Brits to understand this kind of thing, since
you don't have an independent court in your country. You are seeing a good
example of how this country works, unlike yours and most certainly unlike
anything Germans knew under Hitler.
