No good, Pete.  The modem has already auto-bauded on that AT command, and
is now set to 19200.  See ?

PC> BAUD=19200  PARITY=N  WORDLEN=8

Try again, but after changing Telix's baud-rate to 19200, immediately ring
your modem.  You should now see gibberish instead of RING.  Any AT command
(apart from ATZ) will auto-baud the modem to match the current serial port
setting.
