yeah, but that's a moot point, because you arent forced to run anything that 
you dont want to run.

i used mdaemon as a mailserver, i use apache as my 
webserver, and filezilla as my ftp server.

that way, i am able to pick what i consider the best of the best.

see my comment above. also, regarding synchronet as a telnet capable bbs 
software, it's definetly one of the best avaliable.

well, i dont know what you mean by full screen editor, there is an internal 
editor, but all of us use what we want.

i prever quikedit, other people use 
fedit or whatever they please.

it's great to be able to use your own editor,
people can even make their own personal editor with .js.

yeah, rob is active on dovenet fidonet and the yahoo group. i dont know how 
he does it.
