An angstrom is a unit of length. What does a 'length' of solar radiation
mean? What you have written seems to make no sense.

This was from a table titled
"Present energy sources (calories per square centimeter per year) that were
probably available for organic synthesis on the primitive earth." With the
amounts in the 'energy' column.

It was from "The origins of Life on the Earth" S.L.Miller and
L.E. Orgel, 1974.
(the angstroms was just for UV light wavelengths)
