yeah, they're working on it. i dont know much about the specifics, but scott 
little and other programers are working on it.

'zomorf' for instance is a sysop who loves elebbs and, i feel, gives it 
direction.

well, that's what's happening. tj is not a programmer. he and chris went 
around begging for coding from experienced programmers. that hasnt changed.

now, i would say the y2k fix is the most important renegade development.
if chris hoppman, tj, and whoever else have done more than other 'developers' 
that's really not saying much.  sadly, if the source had got out sooner, 
maybe renegade wouldnt be the bastard child that it is today.

but, perhaps lang had some reason for giving it to a person like spence. 
perhaps he felt that arrivan's own arrogance would keep the source from 
getting out.

hell, we dont even know for sure that lang didnt want the source out.

maybe he gave it to spence so he could put it to death and the people that 
loved renegade could blame someone else.
