I honestly don't know.  I'm beginning to think we know VERY little about
Saddam's Iraq.

You may want to reconsider that last sentence.  Having cast doubt on Bush
for the WMD story, you seem to accept the "bad Saddam" story. 
Remember the story about him taking a cabinet member out and shooting him
personally? Haven't heard that one for a while.  No rape room videos,
either.  And no tongueless people.  It goes on.  How much has been proven?
