The point is that your primary point is mistaken, based as it is on a misreading of how the mass media functions. Not only does it follow, not lead, but it will always point up the mistakes, scandals and whatever because that sells papers or attracts eyeballs to TV. Even the junk far-right press contains stories about the mishaps, mistakes and whatnot because that is seen as news. The good stuff is not. That is as true of Fox as of any other outfit. I think you are confusing editorial and/or columnist stuff with reporting. Or you are being grossly mislead by what you read in a fringe publication such as the Weekly Standard? That rag doesn't even qualify as "media" in the usual sense. Rather it is a polemical, broadside rag whose only purpose is to preach to the choir if only because they are the only ones who would bother reading it. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
