There have been no trial balloons except those floated by conservative political
pundits. This particular one even repeats the nonsense about Kerry floating
the McCain balloon. Trouble is, Kerry never floated that idiotic balloon.
It was people like Fineman who did.

Of course he is a little more crafty than others of his ilk have been. He admits
there is no evidence whatsoever that Kerry is considering Clinton, but yet
he mentions it as a possibility anyway, thus keeping the idea alive. Dumb
stuff.
