Yes, I read what you wrote, we are into the interpretation of words.
Skepticism is the opposite of to believe. As in "I believe I will win the
lottery", and my friend say "no,I don't think so". So he is a bit
skeptical, but so is everyone in many areas of life. Seems people are
trying to make some sort of implication that this is a belief topic (UFO),
as in a religous context, for some people perhaps, but not for everyone.
I prefer to think that people have opposing viewpoints. I do not see the
neccessity of everyone pulling out dictionaries and try to define exactly
what they are. As in we are believers you are skeptics. I still do not see
the point. I think it is enough to just say we have opposing viewpoints
here. Unless of course there is such a thing as professional skeptics.....
