When my husband and I street race, it's from a dead start a stop sign, 
and we back down once we are 5 mph over the speed limit.  (The cops in 
this town are jerks about that.)  We used to live in a town where the 
cops knew where we the high school kids drag raced, and they left them 
alone, because the people along that stretch of highway cheered them on 
as long as they didn't do it after midnight.  I'm not sure what the gear 
ratio is in our 4x4 Power Ram, but I do know that is has a dana in the 
back, whatever that means.
