DR> Ruth has a good point. Another thing you can do to help him is a
DR> little "pnemonics". On an 8x11" tagboard or construction paper, draw a
DR> lower case b. Make the letter good and thick. Then, using yellow and
DR> black markers, draw this "b" into a "bee". On another 8x11" tagboard,
DR> draw a lower case d. Make the letter good and thick. Then, using brown
DR> and other colors, draw this "d" into a "dog". (I'd send you a picture
DR> of what I mean if I had your mailing address, but I don't. You can
DR> netmail it to me at 202/211 or email me at
DR> dransdell@worldnet.att.net.) Then, post these in the room where he
DR> does most of his written work. Put the B on the left, and the D on the
DR> right of him, according to the direction he faces when writing at his
DR> seat.
DR> I had several kids in 2nd grade who had difficulty with b's and d's. I
DR> wouldn't really worry about it until he's in 3rd grade, and even then
DR> it will depend on his consistency and if he's trying to use the
DR> "system" you've established for it.

That sounds quite interesting. I will have to try it. He is in 3rd grade.
I think that he is getting confused on account of his ADHD. I'm not quite
sure.
Regina
... Back up my hard disk? I can't find the reverse switch!
