Agreed - that was my point, too.  Sounds like it's just not the right modem
for his (or Rod's) personal tastes.  Can't please everyone, so ..

Goodo.  I rather doubt USR will consider it either peculiar or a quirk, but
it'll be interesting to see their reasoning.
