actually, the same thing happens with TSE 2.5 if you save settings to
the .EXE and then later burn in your .UI again.
the reason eold.exe and e32.exe are identical is because they *are*
identical!
in both cases you need to update your .UI source, before burning your
.UI in again:
select Options->Full Configuration->Write Settings to ASCII file, then
give it the name of the .CFG file your .UI file includes. now when you
burn in your .UI file it will include the settings you saved, so now
eold.exe and e32.exe will not be identical, and e32.exe will contain
your settings.
