 Probably another baseless rumour ;).
 I have just tried it again to be sure and it works. Of course it is not
 possible to unpack files with long names ( DOS is to be blamed for
 that, not PKZIP/2 ) but even this problem can be solved if you use the
 /SHORT option when packing.
