If you're using DANIBOOT.FLT it sounds as though you're using floppy
emulation boot. Have you tried the memdisk (no-emulation) method? I've
had better sucess with that than with emulation.

Well, my first bootable attempt did have quite a lot of stuff I didn't
really need, but it was only 28-30 mb, so I wasn't too concerned. I may
be biased, but I've never had much luck with RSJ, so I'm not really
sure that it simplifies things a lot. Even for normal CD burning I've
given it away in preference to mkisofs/cdrecord or dvddao. I'm lazy -
write batch files to save me having to remember the commands. However,
with that software combination I've had very few failures.

Well, UpdCD will create a complete installation CD, but I have quite
often used it as an emergency repair facilility. I edit the CONFIG.SYS
that it will use before I create the iso image, so that I can include
my tools into the search path, and then go from there.

Depending on which version of OS/2 you use as a base, you may be
offered the choice of floppy emulation or memdisk boot for UpdCD as
well. Again, I've had more sucesses with the non-emulation boot than
with the floppy emulation version.

You're welcome. Hope it was of some help.

If you get stuck, I may be able to find the most recent setup I used
for Bootable - might get you a bit further.
