Not at all.  First off I did, or rather tried to do,
properly via NetMail.  Second, I think if the moderator
is busy or out of the loop for some reason there is
nothing wrong with trying to let him know there is a
major problem with the echo.

Most of us do, but I tried sending him NetMail and
email.  The email was returned as not deliverable and
the NetMail, I assumed, didn't reach him.

Oh, I've had my share of moderator slaps but only for
veering off topic.  But Paul has always been fairly lax
in the topic area but never in the flame area.
