NW> SONGWRITING TECHNIQUES
This reads like a formula or recipe. Great music has always been the result
of someone smashing the rules of music accepted at that time, not from
paint-by-numbers "songwriting"
Personally, I hate songs that go Verse Chorus verse chorus verse chorus
chorus
Boring.
That's what them alternative rockers do. Metal too, but at least they
throw in a solo to spice it up, give an alternative melody and idea to the
existing rhythm and chord structure.
