There are things that are more important than being able to say we won't
work with anyone who doesn't do things our way. It's a big world and we
have to be realistic about attaining goals and compromises along the way.

Not at all. What I'm saying is that as members of the free peoples of the
world it should be our goal to free the rest from violent dictatorships.
There is no requirement for war, there are plenty of other options. BUT
more importantly our leaders should be honest with us instead of trying to
lead us like sheep. It's our country, we man the army, we pay the bills, we
should be given straight information and asked for a decision then our
leaders should do their best to turn our decisions into reality.
