That is total bullshit, Geo, all of it. It is Bush who took their country
from them. It is Bush and his Iraqi puppets who are trying to re-order Iraq
in keeping with American goals. It is those Iraqi puppet who are helping to
make of
Iraq another US client state. From a nationalist point of view, they are
all traitors.
Allawi is the worst of them. He is a former CIA operative and is even now
proposing draconian police state policies little different from those under
Saddam and all for the purpose of making Iraq safer for the Americans and
their Iraqi puppets, Allawi chief among them. Allawi is another Chalabi,
only worse. Forget about democracy in Iraq. You will never see it and most
certainly not if it is a democracy imposed by the US and its Iraqi puppets.
Consider Afghanistan. There is a real chance for democracy under Karsai,
but we have already abandoned him because we prefer to ally with the
southern war lords
so we can chase around looking for remnants of AQ and of course failing to
find them and on those rare occasion when we do accomplish nothing because,
quite mysteriously, the seem to fade away through the war lords troops.
You have to be as blind as a bat to believe Bush ever had any intentions of
bringing democracy to either Iraq or Afghanistan, for doing so would
guarantee the Americans being kicked out. And not just the American troops
but their Halliburton auxiliaries as well.
