That's bs Gene, there is an occupying force who want's nothing more than to
give them back control of their country and their future and help them get
their economy going. If the goal was as you stated the resistance would be
trying to protect those iraqis who are working to create the conditions
needed for the US to leave.

That's not what is happening, they are blowing up bombs killing more iraqis
than americans, they are blowing up the power grid, the oil pipelines, the
police. These are iraqi targets, there is nothing pariotic about it. It's a
power grab.
