That's the answer.  There were hints that some things involving VFC had
been fixed in the upgrade - so far, I've seen no bad effects whatever from
falling back to the 1995-07-05 Supervisor.  Saw my very first 33.6k connect
the other night, courtesy of Russel Brook's gold mine phone lines..:-)  (He
rang me.. cheeky beggar..:-)
