All I wanted to say, that why make a new Qmodem Pro...when
as I said above what JH says..that I use an old Qmodem Pro95
which was used in Windows95 ...along with a Blue Wave QWKmail
offline reader...with a WindowsXP system.

I like dial up, with systems that work with DOS to WindowsXP
to make it easy. The excuses I hear that folks do not use
the BBSes, is the modem is not compatible, and the programs
in their new PCs.

New BBSes are into intergration, and dropping BBS programs
due to security reasons, and that means less networking.

oh well, as a diehard, I use the oldest packet system with
1200 that can dial as well work thru a radio transmitter.
When that dies out...mmm...I guess I will be either retired
of long gone.

... Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.
