Czes'c', Miles!

26 Mar 05 06:15, you -> me:

Aha, I heard of that. :-)

ARS>> Programmers usually are not help writers... :-(

MM> Heh, heh ... you mean, like explaining the obvious to ... people ?

Yep... Even Microsoft doesn't write good help.
Linux seems to have help for everything (at least, it exists somewhere),
but who will understand it from the second time?
And if you write a really little program for yourself, you won't write any
documentation but maybe a list of command-line switches. ;-) Then you see
that people liked it... but you don't like it yourself, and nobody writes a
documentation...
As for big programs, you don't need documentation, and if you are writing
it, you have no time to write the program, so ...
And anyway, I guess, only really professional programmers would be able to
use "mundane" words in documentation... But then they don't have
time to write documentation at all.
Damn, I guess there are some dupe sentences in this. ;-)

Ah. I use Word itself to save into text. I wouldn't have to use
"wrapping" if Far viewer supported shorter-line wrapping... I
mean, using some 60-70 columns for viewing, while the window is 120 or so.

MM> Are you having an Easter Holiday this weekend ? If so, enjoy your

Thanks. You too. :-) I'm not sure I have, though. Maybe it is shifted a
week. ;) And what are the "chocolate Easter Eggs"? Never saw
such. ;-) Just usual colored eggs.

Hej hej!
