Grob certainly made some beautiful sailplanes.  A local friend of mine
brought one from Germany when he came to south Texas.  Don't think he
ever got to fly it down here as he got sick shortly after arriving.  He
was a test pilot on the BF-109 during the "unpleasantness" and had a
very nice control touch even after he became physically weak.  Flew my
airknocker like it was a big fluffy moth.

VERY interesting sounding engine. I generically dislike Diesels, but
just because the smell funny don't mean they aren't good engines. I too
hope they hang 'em on some REALLY good mounts!
