Once I added a big enough cap to filter out most of the power supply static 
coming from my car's antiquated electrical system, I was able to pump the 
output of whatever I was listening to (scanner, CB, etc) through a 200W amp 
and into a pair of rear-deck-mounted speakers.  Works great, though I tend to 
get stares at the stoplights...
