Do you remember when you were eighteen?

East end you get the seedy side. That's East of Downtown, until the
'steam' whistle clock. Quite a disparaging place! For me, from East Van
to where the pig farmer was murdering prostitutes would be better
without people. I kid you not, the garbage pickers are nicer that the
businessmen. Talking to one business owner, she asks people all the
time why live in such a beautiful place, and be so miserable.

Have a blast, Nick! You'll find most of the Canadians hard to tell a
lie, and will give you plenty self serving scepticism for ourself if
we don't *really* know what we speak about. 

Van is not my kinda town. If it's the satellite cities, or right
downtown, I think I'd rather slit my throat than live there. Other
people love it, but there's too many 'holes in too tight a
place... Not my style. I do know of a couple of good fido nodes in or
around there. You'll be too busy partying to log into them though.

You should really try to party with the Nufies. (People from
Newfoundland.) Their *children* will drink you under the table, and
have eggs ready by the time you're awake. Quite a breed of people. Be
sure to watch a few Canadian expose television if all you see is
60-minutes. Being a colony... No, your "founders" were Dutch, right?

I was mentioning some of the things Yankees should know about
themselves. Not a lot of Yankees like me.
