Folks:

I've recently had a discussion with a wholesaler that they no longer carry
AMD MB or chips because they are "unreliable".

They carried them for years, way back in the K5/K6 days.

I'm thinking they are using it as an excuse for some other problem they
have.

About the only points I know is that for the most part AMD chips run
warmer (anyone know how much warmer?) And they are sensitive to some
powersupplies.

I have a Thunderbird MB and its a champ as far as I'm concerned. So I
just wanted to solicit other opinions.

You can send them privately or thru the this list. I look forward to your
responses.

TIA
-Mark
