If you think that was democratic, have another think. I had no idea you were such a radical, Geo. You want to junk the American system of representative government for a sort of referendum type of government using computers (can't help but giggle uncontrollably at that monstrous idea) so that every jerk out there can take a minute or two from watching the boob tube to push a few buttons on his computer to pass laws. Up to a point, California already has that kind of system with its government by referendum. It has been an utter disaster. That dumb system is directly responsible for much of the mess that sad state has become. In case you are not aware of it, you are talking government by mob. Our system of government and every other system of government out there is designed specifically to avoid just that. I can't think of much that would be more un-American than what you are advocating. It is indeed monstrous, not to mention a gross misuse of technology. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
