We are right now. Even the Bush dummies knew democracy in Iraq would put the Shiites in power and that was and remains unacceptable to everyone, in and our of Iraq. Bush tried to avoid it by insisting on a constitution that would mandate power sharing. Al Sistani rejected it out of hand. Without that kind of constitution elections would lead to Shiite rule and that would itself prevent democracy. More to the point, without that kind of constitution, elections favor only Shiites, therefore there will be no elections. All of this was obvious long before the war even began. Obvious that is to everyone but the utter idiots in this administration. But Bush has told you otherwise and good party man that you are, you believe it. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
