 PB 3.1 has functions included for trimming the string. RTRIM$
 will remove the "right" or trailing blanks (or other things if
 you use the options) and LTRIM$ will remove the "left" or
 leading blanks. So you can write a TRIM$ function which merely
 does a LTRIM$(RTRIM$(a$)). Sorry, I'm too lazy to work on a
 capitalization function at this moment ;-) I'm betting you'll
 get some nifty responses to that question here shortly ;-)
