Like the frequent alerts, it is just an election ploy, another argument why
we should give our war president another four years.  This one, though, is
even dumber than the usual alerts. It will backfire on Bush rather badly.
God but these people are dumb, dumb, dumb that they would even float this
asinine idea.

Given this administration's reputation, the common thought will be Bush
announcing the election must be postponed because of a terror threat (read,
postponed because we believe we are going to lose it). What's that, nothing
actually happened? Well our intelligence told us to expect one and we all
know how good our intel community is, now don't we? Besides, we must act
pre-emptively on these things. You know, as we did so wisely with Iraq.
