Hi Rich,
I've been trying to make that point. In fact, I'm in a really swell,
sour-grapes type position to cling to that point. Sixteen months ago, I
was a screaming looney when I was drunk, did a lot of societal damage,
etc, and I think that's a fine point.
As a matter of fact, I've been trying to point out in our local
controvery that I *only* sell objects used with cannabis, if they are
used illegally at all.
Maybe I can focus the local discussion on *just* cannabis, and leave the
"other stuff" out of it. That's the problem with scheduling pot with
all of those "drugs" in the first place. Maybe I can reach a few people
with that idea.
RW>Also will alligator clips in Radio Shack be banned also? What about

Right. I don't sell "roach clips" now, and they do. The local
supermarkets offer a plethora of attractive stuff too (those plastic
honey-bear bottles make adequate bongs). Trouble is, the definition of
paraphernalia here specifies that the deciding factor is the retail
setting. If I have something in the store that says "drugs is groovy"
(High Times magazines, various funny stickers I sell, etc), then it's a
headshop and it's drug paraphernalia. If it's an auto parts store, a
brass elbow for a pipe is just a brass elbow. Go figure.

RW>Why don't they start after Congress to get some of these "dopes" (Agency

Fear of the guys with the bigger guns.
